„Knits“ starts as a fictional reportage about a secret laboratory in the Armenian desert. Workers are producing knitted fabric there, and an off-screen voice describes the secret and complicated work process on the mechanical, hand-operated machines. The film takes a bizarre turn when the workers optimise a strange game during their break, in which a female worker, dressed in a knit-ted, full body suit, is pushed through the hall like an aeroplane. The narrator poses the question, „Is this art, is it international?“
